A Father of Many Nations and a Mighty Contender for the Faith!
Chief Apostle Douglas L. Wilson served as a Consecrated Bishop for 15 years after attending the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishop’s Congress in Cleveland, Ohio, before being affirmed as a Chief Apostle in 2015. However, his humble beginnings began with God calling him to ministry as a teenager and he accepted the call being licensed, ordained, consecrated, and affirmed.
Chief Apostle Douglas Wilson founded and co-organized their first ministry Dove Worship Center, Inc. with his wife Apostle Maxine E. Wilson, and daughters.
Being faithful to the commands of the Father, Chief Apostle Douglas L. Wilson has to date 25 years of pastoring! As evidence of an Apostolic Leader functioning in his governing assignment, he planted six (6) churches, and raised up four Pastors, many Elders, Prophets, Ministers, Teachers, & Evangelists. To his account, his fruit remains to bear even more fruit.
Chief Apostle Douglas and Apostle Maxine together co-organized New Life Worship Center in Petersburg uniting three city churches: Dove Worship Center, Inc., Faith Christian Center, and Mount Zion Christian Center. Chief Apostle Douglas at that time served as the Bishop and Chairman of the Board of Directors of New Life Worship Center and in the office of Presiding Prelate of New Life Full Gospel Non-Denominational, Inc.
Known for his heart for missions, Chief Apostle Douglas, our Primate, organized Rainbow International Fellowship, Inc., and Apostle Maxine is the Presiding Prelate. Chief Apostle Douglas is an international missionary traveling for missions in Guyana, South America, which is his special love. The Global Network of Apostles and Prophets hosted his mission trip to Portugal which is in Southwestern Europe. The other notable missions are Rwanda and Kenya (both in Eastern South Africa).
Commitment to ensuring the body of Christ is equipped as disciples, ministers of the gospel, and education, Chief Apostle Douglas established a School of Ministry and the Evangel Christian School at New Life Worship Center, which was a Private School teaching the ABEKA certified curriculum. Chief Apostle Douglas served as a Church consultant and instructor in the School of Ministry at the Redemption Ministries, Prince George, VA, and the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Chief Apostle Douglas passed the mantle of Senior Pastor to his wife Apostle Maxine in 2007 and he now serves as Primate of In His Presence Apostolic Ministry.
Senior Pastor
Chosen to Shift Spiritual climate zones, realms, and atmospheres.
Apostle Maxine was installed as a Pastor under Chief Apostle Douglas. She embraced the passing of the Baton of New Life Worship Center from Chief Apostle Douglas and was installed as Senior Pastor and continues to perfect the saints for the work of the ministry through teaching “Intimate Relationship with God the Father”.
The ministry name was later changed to In His Presence Apostolic Ministry under Apostle Maxine, Senior Pastoring. A precious gift in the body of Christ, an anointed woman of God serving from Sis Maxine in the beginning to Apostle Maxine of In His Presence Apostolic Ministry.
She was affirmed as an Apostle and functions in the 5-fold giftings. Her passion for genuine praise and worship provokes a stirring of God’s praises and draws every listener’s spirit into intimate worship with the Father.
Her mandate is clear, Luke 4:18 “…to preach deliverance to the captive, recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Apostle Maxine enjoys fulfilling the vision according to Matthew 28 “Go ye into all the world, making disciples of men……; and Ephesians 4:12, “…for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”. Apostle Maxine continues to establish leadership and implement several ministry extensions such as A-Team Leadership Training, ImPACT Ministry School (Individuals Maturing, Pursuing, & Accepting the Call Together), Prayers That Heal the Heart, Showers for the Homeless, Nursing Home Ministry, Community Outreach Evangelism, and The Father’s Touch Soaking Prayer Network, Petersburg, VA which she founded in 2006.
Apostle Maxine E. Wilson co-organized Dove Worship Center, Inc. with Chief Apostle Douglas L. Wilson, Founder, in their home. The 1st service was held with family and friends and the Lord added to the church.
Apostle Maxine together with Chief Apostle Douglas, co-organized New Life Worship Center in Petersburg uniting three city churches: Dove Worship Center, Inc., Faith Christian Center, and Mount Zion Christian Center.
Apostle Maxine E. Wilson is the Presiding Prelate of Rainbow International Fellowship, Inc.; which was organized by Chief Apostle Douglas L. Wilson, Primate.
Apostle Maxine is an international missionary and has done missions in Guyana, South America; Apostle Maxine’s most recent mission trip was to Saint Martian in the Northeast Caribbean Sea which is in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
One of Apostle Maxine’s passions is to develop and assist women to be reconciled to God and to covenant relationships and friendships. She established Women Uniting Women Ministry, Inc. (WUW) Heart-to-Heart Teas. Through the Word of God, women are taught that their relationships with others are only reflections of their relationship with God. She continues to teach edify the body, spirit & soul of the WHOLE Woman with Hadassah’s Women Ministry (HWM) of In His Presence Apostolic Ministry, Inc.
Another one of her passions is soaking prayer having intimate time with Father God and introducing this concept to others.
Apostle Maxine is a graduate of “Catch the Fire” Soaking Prayer School, Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, Toronto, Canada, as a certified and skilled Soaking Prayer Center Facilitator. Apostle Maxine promotes soaking prayer awareness to the nations far and near teaching the concepts of soaking prayer, which encourages this deeper intimacy with the Father. Philemon 1:20 admonishes us to …“refresh our hearts in the Lord.” Soaking sessions are “times of refreshing” in the presence of the Lord. During these cherished times, the hearts, minds, and cares of all people are turned towards Him in meditation upon His Word and peaceful submission into His presence. “Soaking prayer positions your worship to grant total access into the presence of God!”
Apostle Maxine trains facilitators and establishes soaking centers whose purpose and goal is to “give the Father’s love away”. Apostle Maxine teaches and facilitates Soaking Prayer Sessions in homes, churches, and retreat centers, and she has birthed 8 soaking centers including one in Columbia, South Carolina, one in Baltimore, Maryland, two in Petersburg, Virginia, two in Richmond, Virginia, and one in Fort Worth, Texas. She has introduced many churches to soaking prayer which now includes soaking as part of their prayer time and life.
Apostle Maxine’s assignment is to exalt men to intimacy with the Father. So that, they may know and experience His tangible touch of love for themselves and fulfill their purpose and destiny.
